MIFGS Styling Study

As modern gardeners we find solace in what lies between the hard edges. We find comfort in the green fronds and tendrils that caress and soften the modern world we live in. The experiences of our recent past, coupled with our developing city, have inspired us to reconnect our inner selves to nature. The world over has nurtured indoor greenery - immersing ourselves in experimenting with plants and planters to restore our minds whilst celebrating our inner plant personalities.

We welcome you to your greener home.

Overview

Over the last few years working from home has inspired lusher workspaces. Working spaces that provide for calmer thinking and organization.

Plants to Use in The Study

  • Rubber plant (Ficus elastica) – Bold and dark foliage provides a neutral addition.
  • Heart leaf Philodendron (Philodendron hederaceum) – The solid green foliage helps to amplify a neutral palette.
  • Fruit salad plant (Monstera deliciosa) – An all-time favourite. Use these in empty spaces and allow them to unfurl and spread out.

Styling Tips

  • Neutrals can be layered up to create depth in your space.
  • Style plants and planters with other homewares to create a seamless space.
  • Play with bold planter shapes to make your space unique.
