Shipping policy

The information contained within this document relates to The Plant Society online store, trading under The Plant Society PTY LTD. Shipping: 
  • Most orders are sent within 3 working days after the order is placed unless we contact you individually. 
  • The Plant Society is not responsible for any missing or delayed packages once your order has been dispatched.
  • A tracking number will be emailed to you on fulfilment of your order. Please refer to it for expected delivery times and shipping progress.
  • If you have concerns on the whereabouts of your order, please contact us and we can enquire with the courier company entrusted with delivering your package.

Shipping within Australia :
  • We offer Flat Rate Shipping of $9.99 on all orders except orders containing large and bulky items. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

    *Plant shipping - We ship to VIC, ACT, NSW, QLD.
    Due to quarantine restrictions, we cannot ship to SA,NT, TAS, WA or Internationally. Plants are dispatched on Monday or Tuesday in order to minimise risk of your plants being held up in the postal system.

Shipping to New Zealand :

  • We offer international shipping on our products except plants. Shipping fees are calculated at check out.
  • Please Note - The Plant Society is not responsible for any customs fees or tariffs that may apply when your order enters into your country. 

Shipping outside of the AU:

  • We offer international shipping on our products except plants. Please contact us for a shipping quote - hello@theplantsociety.com.au

 Shipping Method
  • Courier or Australia Post
  • Once dispatched from our shop, your order is now under the responsibility of the shipping provider. Please note, each shipping provider has their own tracking system with estimated time frames. The Plant Society is not responsible for, and can not guarantee, shipping freight times, this is at the mercy of our shipping partners, although we do endeavour to dispatch orders efficiently and within 3 working days. 
 Considering environmental sustainability, we will ship your order with used recycled cardboard boxes as much as possible.
If you would prefer a new cardboard box for your delivery, please let us know.
