The Plant Society are ambassadors for all things green, with studios and stores in Melbourne and Tokyo, we promote positive and open conversations around gardening. Through our outposts in Melbourne and Tokyo we hope to inspire all to nurture greenery in homes and help motivate a greener city.

Gardener / Plant Butler™ (Plant Technician)
Casual, Part-time, Full-time | Melbourne
The Plant Society seeks a passionate and keen gardeners to join our Melbourne family. As gardener you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining plants across our plant projects in Melbourne.
Our commercial and maintenance departments lead innovative installations and care for exceptional indoor jungles in residences, brands and businesses across Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Canberra, Auckland and Tokyo. As Plant Butler, you will be responsible for day-to-day care and gardening expertise across both residential and commercial spaces. The successful applicant will be professional, have immense initiative, hardworking and have an eye for detail to ensure our indoor jungles thrive.
We have opportunities for:
- Casual positions - working 3 to 16 hours on a weekly basis with the opportunity for additional hours.
- Part-time positions working 16-24 hours on a weekly basis with the opportunity for additional hours.
- Full-time positions.

Online Packer & Retail Assistant
Part-Time | Melbourne
The Plant Society seeks a keen and passionate Online Packer & Retail Assistant to join our Melbourne family. As an all rounder role of Retail Assistant and Online Packer, you will be responsible for day to day store tasks, sales, picking and packing at online orders.
In doing so you will be positive and passionate about all things green and nurturing our client base. The successful applicant will be professional, have immense initiative, hardworking and have an eye for detail.
This role is a part-time position, working up to 24 hours on a weekly basis inclusive of weekend shifts, with the opportunity for additional hours.

COUNTRY GARDENER
Casual | Central Victoria
Burkeham Farmhouse and The Plant Society is seeking a passionate and proactive Country Gardener to join us near Ballarat and Daylesford.
As the Country Gardener you will be responsible for tending and developing the garden in collaboration with our Creative Director. With an array of animals on the property, a love for animals is a bonus.
Over time the role may expand and include propagation and production growing for activities across the businesses.
The successful plant person will be hard working, responsible for seasonal tasks with a commitment to progress in a garden. This
role is initially casual – 8 hours per fortnight with flexibility for peak times / additional projects.
