Zanzibar Gem (Zamioculcas zamifolia or "ZZ" plant) is hardy plant which can grow in dark and even low light positions in your home. "Zenzii" is a new release that bears a compact growth habit.

Zanzibar Gem's are slow growing, but prefer drier conditions as they can survive long periods without water. it's dark-green, shiny, waxy leaves look prehistoric, making it a great sculptural floor plant in your hallway or living room.
