Pilea peperomioides

The Chinese money plant has become a highly desired variety throughout the world thanks to its almost perfectly round leaves that elegantly sit on the ends of long petioles. Chinese money plant thrive in bright indirect light and grow to approximatively 50 centimetres (20 inches) tall and wide. These small - to medium - sized plants are perfect specimens to place on your dining table or sideboard to appreciate their beauty.

  • ALTERNATIVE NAMES: Pancake plant, missionary plant, lease plant.

  • LIGHT: Prefers bright indirect light.

  • WATER: Keep moist over the warmer months. Reduce watering in the cooler months and allow the plant to dry out longer between watering.

  • NUTRIENTS: Feed with slow-release fertiliser once every six months (refer to packaging for dosage). In the warmer months, feed twice with a liquid fertiliser.
