Aluminium Oil Burner by Henry Wilson
Aluminium Oil Burner by Henry Wilson
A continuation of our experiments with heating and dispersing oil blends, the Aluminium Oil Burner references modern architecture and sculpture in its elementary, utilitarian form, and provides a straightforward means of imbuing any space with a pleasing fragrance.
Because this object is sand-cast in solid metal and manufactured in small batches, slight variations will occur from one piece to another. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. The original finish will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a quality metal polish to restore
brightness.
To use, remove the top of the Oil Burner and insert a standard tea-light candle into the body. After lighting the candle, replace the top and dispense five to ten drops of your favoured oil blend into the oil well. In order to avoid soot, we recommend using pure beeswax candles; to ensure safety, extinguish candles immediately after use.
